Hello, everyone. DaNel here. I’m so sorry that the October 2024 Newsletter is going out so late. I really try to get them out before the first of the month. But the last couple of weeks have been super busy with personal issues, and all of us have been working on the fundraiser.
Last Friday, Bonnie went to the Green Hills Center for the first time. Everyone was so excited to see her that they went to floors they were not living on to see Bonnie. Then, when she got to their floor, they got a Bonnie visit twice. We are excited because we will return to the Green Hills Center again on October 17th.
Fundraiser
Our fundraiser is less than two weeks away. We have received several donations of silent auction items and some monetary donations. We appreciate every single thing that has been donated to us.
Over the next seven days, I will update the information page with items donated for the silent auction. We will take silent auction bids now, and the starting bid will be on the day of the event. So, if you see anything that you want, go ahead and send in a bid.

More Visits in October
In addition to the two visits to the Green Hills Center this month, we will make two visits on October 26th. Bonnie will go to the Montessori School again for a Halloween fun day. Then, we will go to Blackford Place for a fun afternoon with the seniors.
Bonnie will return to the Bethany Center in Antioch on October 31st for its annual Fall Festival. This will be her second year participating.
Housekeeping
We still need Silent Auction Donations, Volunteers, and, of course, people to show up to our Fundraiser to participate.
We are looking for a grant writer to VOLUNTEER at least one round of grant writing. We can pay for your service from the grant we receive, so technically, you will be paid, but only after the money is received.
Lastly, I found out that our emails were broken for a bit. I don’t know how long. If you have sent us a message but have not heard back, please contact us again.
